Styrene Monomer

Styrene Monomer is an organic monomer aromatics compound with a purity of >99.8% and used as raw material to produce Polystyrene (PS), Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), Styrene Acrylonitrile (SAN), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR), Styrene Butadiene Latex (SBL) and Unsaturated Polyester Resin (UPR). Some end-product applications include shoe soles, drinking cups, food containers, automotive and electronic parts, building block, toys, and helmets.

Ethylbenzene (EB), an aromatic hydrocarbon with >99.7% purity, is a flammable, colourless liquid with an odour similar to gasoline. Ethylbenzene is typically transported through pipelines for use as raw material to produce Styrene Monomer.

Toluene is a precursor aromatic hydrocarbon material with purity >98.5% purity and is produced as a by-product of Styrene Monomer production. It is a colourless and water-insoluble liquid and can be used as a solvent in various applications, including paint thinner, permanent markers, and certain glues.
