Chandra Asri Group’s corporate shared values are deeply rooted in community engagement and involvement. Through a comprehensive social mapping process, Chandra Asri Group has collected valuable input and suggestions from community members, ensuring that the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs are relevant and effective. 

This collaborative process has led to program recommendations that focus on community development, capacity building, and strategic giving. Specifically, our corporate shared values are implemented through four key CSR pillars. Under each of these pillars, we have designed and implemented highly specific programs that contribute to social and community development. Collectively, these bring lasting and positive outcomes for the beneficiaries of our Corporate Shared Values.

Education

In education, Chandra Asri Group aims to fostering educational opportunities and enhancing local human resources. This is done through scholarships programs.

 

For deserving and outstanding students, scholarships are awarded for studies up to tertiary level at national universities through awarding scholarships to deserving and outstanding students. A partnership with the Banten Petrochemical Industrial Polytechnic (BPIP) aims to provide chemical engineering students opportunities practical field work as well as post-graduation employment at Chandra Asri Group. A separate collaboration with BPIP aims to build the capacity of teachers by providing training on selecting new students for admission.

Achieving the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) for our products is a significant milestone for us. With ISCC certification, we are optimistic about exploring opportunities to transition to the use of bio-feedstock as an alternative feedstock.
