Waste Sorting Actions at Global Village Supported by Indonesia Asri Campaign

The Indonesia Asri Campaign, initiative by Chandra Asri Group to collectively create a greener Indonesia, showed its support for the Global Village event through education and hands-on waste sorting activity for participants. Global Village is an international cultural festival held by AIESEC Jabodetabek, bringing together young people from various countries to celebrate diversity. 

This event also featured operasi semut, a collective action focused on collecting and sorting scattered waste throughout the venue. The activity was attended by around 350 participants from diverse backgrounds, ranging from high school students to university students. The enthusiasm and participation of attendees reflected growing awareness and willingness to contribute to the environment, and reduce the impact of environmental issues. The operasi semut initiative was also supported by the provision of sorting waste facility throughout the venue.
