Towards Low Carbon Petrochemical Industry through the Utilization of Green Hydrogen

Chandra Asri Group participated in the Indonesia Energy Transition Dialogue (IETD) 2025, held in Jakarta on October 8, 2025, by the Indonesia Clean Energy Forum (ICEF) and the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR). This annual forum serves as a strategic platform for energy sector stakeholders to discuss the direction and implementation of the national energy transition.

In session themed "Establishing Indonesia's Green Hydrogen Ecosystem," Chandra Asri Group was represented by Andang Pungkase, Head of ESG & Sustainability, who shared industry perspectives on the role of green hydrogen in supporting decarbonization efforts in the petrochemical sector. In his presentation, he explained the application of hydrogen in Chandra Asri's operations and outlined the challenges and opportunities for collaboration in building a sustainable green hydrogen ecosystem in Indonesia. The session also featured technology providers, buyers, and financing institutions that play a key role in developing the national green hydrogen value chain.
