The Synergy Between Chandra Asri Group and Polda Banten, Preparing Skilled Workers through the Poliran Program

PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Banten Regional Police (Polda Banten) to support the Polisi Peduli Pengangguran Program (Poliran). This program aims to enhance skills and create job opportunities for communities affected by unemployment.

The MoU was signed on March 13, 2025, by the Banten Police Chief, Inspector General Suyudi Ario Seto, S.I.K., S.H., M.Si., and Edi Rivai, Director of Legal, External Affairs, and Circular Economy at Chandra Asri Group. This signing marks the initial step in implementing the Poliran Program, which will be rolled out, particularly in Cilegon City. The program also involves the Serang Center for Vocational Training and Productivity (BBPVP), providing vocational and entrepreneurship training to improve community skills.

The Poliran Program is expected to help reduce the unemployment rate while also creating an orderly environment and improving public safety. On March 18, 2025, National Police Chief Commissioner General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated the Poliran Training Center, which will provide training, certification, and preparation for productive workers to be placed in partner companies.
