Chandra Asri Group, together with the Ministry of Defense and TNI, officially launched the Reserve Component of Basic Military Training program (Latsarmil Komcad) on Tuesday, August 19th 2025, at the Cavalry Education Center, Padalarang, West Java. This program marks the first collaborative initiative between the private sector and TNI in strengthening national defense by shaping a disciplined and resilient younger generation.
The participants of Latsarmil Komcad 2025 come from the Banten Petrochemical Industry Polytechnic (PIPB), a vocational institution established by the Indonesian Ministry of Industry in collaboration with Chandra Asri Group as industry partner. In total, the program targets 500 participants, implemented in several stages. In this first phase, 181 PIPB students are joining the program. Their participation is expected to shape a young generation with strong character, discipline, and resilience, who can contribute to advancing the national industry.
