Indonesia Asri Campaign and BEM UNTIRTA Encourage Waste Sorting Through Aksi Asri Operasi Semut in Serang

PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group), through the Indonesia Asri Campaign, collaborated with the Student Executive Board of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (BEM UNTIRTA) to hold Aksi Asri Operasi Semut Vol. 12 during Car Free Day (CFD) at Serang City Square. Amid the lively weekend atmosphere, 30 volunteers comprising university students and community members engaged directly with visitors, promoting environmental awareness through waste collection activities and waste sorting education. The initiative forms part of the Indonesia Asri Campaign’s ongoing efforts to encourage responsible waste management practices and inspire communities to adopt more sustainable lifestyles.

Through an interactive and community-centered approach, volunteers not only cleaned public spaces but also educated residents on different waste categories and proper waste segregation methods. The collaboration highlights the important role of young people in driving behavioral change and fostering greater environmental awareness within society. Through Aksi Asri Operasi Semut, the Indonesia Asri Campaign aims to encourage more people in Serang to make waste sorting a daily habit, contributing to cleaner public spaces, healthier communities, and a more sustainable future for generations to come.
