At the Indonesia Pavilion at Osaka Expo 2025, Chandra Asri Group participates by highlighting the importance of providing real solutions to Indonesia’s plastic waste challenges. The company stated that the main challenges lie in changing public behavior to sort waste at the source, ensuring the availability of adequate waste management infrastructure, and enforcing consistent regulations to create collective compliance.
Together with Barito Group, Chandra Asri Group is promoting the issue of circular economy as part of a long-term solution. During the event, the company also presented its circular economy priority programs for the next three years. These programs include strengthening plastic waste processing infrastructure, developing cross-stakeholder collaborations, encouraging the use of circular raw materials in production, and implementing education-based initiatives.
