The Indonesia Asri campaign initiated by Chandra Asri Group has recorded more than 3,300 participants since its launch in 2023, focusing on public education and community-based action to encourage circular economy practices. This program reaches out to the wider community, especially the younger generation, through various initiatives such as #AksiAsri Operasi Semut, #CircleofBeauty, #AksiAsriKreasi, and #AksiAsriBeralih, which involves the Sobat Asri community as agents of change and Asri citizens as public participants.
In two years of implementation, Indonesia Asri has held a collective waste sorting activity involving more than 200 volunteers and successfully sorted 236 kilograms of waste. The campaign also strengthens community-based waste management through collaboration with a number of waste banks in Jakarta. The initiative is being implemented amid national challenges, where around 32% of Indonesia's waste is optimally managed.
Entering its third year, Indonesia Ari is expanding collaboration with communities and educational institutions to make an impact on education and strengthen contributions to the environmental movement.
