Chandra Asri Group organized Food Stall TAM 2026 as part of the Turn Around Maintenance (TAM) program at its petrochemical facilities in Cilegon, Banten. While maintenance activities involving around 5,000 workers were underway, the program created direct business opportunities for local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly small-scale food vendors and women’s community groups. A total of 26 food stalls were set up within the plant area, operated by approximately 80 residents from the company’s Ring 1 communities—such as Gunung Sugih, Kosambironyok, Grogol Indah, and Anyar—to support the dining and rest needs of workers throughout the TAM period, which began in mid-January 2026.
More than an operational support facility, Food Stall TAM 2026 has also become a catalyst for the local economy, delivering real benefits for participating vendors. Several MSMEs reported a significant increase in revenue during the program, helping sustain their livelihoods amid declining sales at their usual places of business. Through this initiative, Chandra Asri Group reaffirms its commitment to integrating social considerations into its strategic operations, while strengthening its role as a growth partner that develops alongside communities surrounding its operational areas.
