Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) 2020

PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) by implementing strict health protocols. Taking place at Wisma Barito Pacific, Jakarta, the meeting on 7 December 2020 was attended by the Board of Commissioners and Directors of Chandra Asri. During the meeting, the merger plan between Chandra Asri and its subsidiary, PT Styrindo Mono Indonesia was approved. The objective of this merger is to create a petrochemical company that is more integrated in Indonesia and ready to compete with the major regional petrochemical players who are largely integrated. The merger, which will be effective on 1 January 2021 is expected to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's business activities.
