Chandra Asri’s Monomer Plant Received TPM Excellence Award in Kyoto

In 21 March 2019, Monomer Plant team of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk attend awarding ceremony of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Award 2018 in Kyoto, Japan for the achievement of TPM Excellence Award Category A. The award was being handed over by Mr. Akira Ichikawa and Mr. Kimio Ishikawa as Monomer Plant’s assessors in 2018 to Mr. Rakphon Sooksiri, Chandra Asri’s Monomer Chairman accompanied by Pillar Leaders from Planned Maintenance (PM) Pillar, Initial Phase Management (IPM) Pillar, Administrative & Office (AO) Pillar and TPM Promoter. TPM Award is being run by Japan Institute for Plant Maintenance (JIPM) and awarded to manufacturing companies who succeed in implementing TPM principles. TPM itself is a maintenance method and technique aimed to reduce work risks and increase production efficiencies. The attainment of TPM Excellence Award Category A on Monomer Plant, completes the line of Chandra Asri’s plants that receive the same award (SMI Plant and Polymer Plant have passed the assessment for TPM Excellence award in 2016 and 2017). Chandra Asri, is committed to maintain this achievement and will continuously improve and strive for more.
