PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group) participated in the 3rd International & Indonesia CCS (IICS) Forum 2025, held on October 7–8, 2025, in Jakarta. At the forum, Chandra Asri Group reaffirmed its commitment to industrial decarbonization through a range of strategic initiatives, including an ongoing feasibility study on Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS). Edi Rivai, Director of Legal, External Relations, and Circular Economy at Chandra Asri Group, emphasized that developing CCS in Indonesia requires cross-sector collaboration, policy support, carbon pricing mechanisms, and financial incentives to attract investment and strengthen the readiness of an integrated CCS ecosystem.
In addition, Chandra Asri Group highlighted its achievement of a 14% reduction in emission intensity since the 2018 baseline year, achieved through the implementation of the “ABCD” strategy (Abate, Balance, Control, Decarbonize). This accomplishment serves as tangible proof of the company’s commitment to enhancing operational sustainability while reinforcing its role as an active partner in driving the transition toward a low-carbon industry that delivers both economic and social benefits for Indonesia.
