Chandra Asri Group Launches Nutrition Checkpoint Program to Address Child Malnutrition Problem

After being implemented for four months, the first phase of Nutrition Checkpoint Program by PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk was completed in April 2019. This program focuses on overcoming the problem of malnutrition in children which if left unchecked can cause health problems as the child grows. Cooperating with the Cilegon Public Health Office and the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UTPD) in Citangkil and Ciwandan District Health Centers, Cilegon. Chandra Asri targets 20 children in this health quality improvement program. During the program, infants and toddlers with malnutrition status received intensive assistance from the UPTD Health Centers. Although this first phase has been completed, Chandra Asri will continue to monitoring and evaluation periodically for the participant children to ensure ideal nutritional development. In the future, this program will be replicated to other health centers in Cilegon, according to directions and recommendations from the Health Office.
