Chandra Asri Group Inaugurates Tanara Village Waste Bank for Sustainable Environmental

PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group) inaugurated a Waste Bank in Tanara Village, Serang Regency, Banten, as part of the Tanara Waste Management program. The program is a collaboration with Bank Sampah Digital, Sheikh Nawawi University Banten, Tanara Village Government, and DLH Serang Regency. This initiative aims to support sustainable waste management and reduce waste problems in the area.

Since its launch in September 2024, the program has managed more than 1,157 kg of waste, involved 155 active customers, and generated waste savings worth IDR 1.65 million. Chandra Asri Group also supports the management of waste into pyrolysis oil that can be utilized by the community.

This program is expected to expand the positive impact in waste management and become an inspiration for other villages to implement similar solutions in creating a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
