PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group), through its subsidiary PT Chandra Pelabuhan Nusantara (CPN), officially signed a Port Business Entity Concession Agreement with Kantor Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan (KSOP) Kelas I Banten on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, at the Office of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta. The signing of this concession represents a concrete step toward strengthening port services and logistics connectivity to support national industrial needs, particularly within the petrochemical and manufacturing sectors. Through this concession, CPN is expected to further enhance integrated port services while improving operational efficiency for industrial areas in Cilegon and its surrounding regions.
Director of PT Chandra Pelabuhan Nusantara, Edi Riva’i, stated that the concession not only fulfills regulatory compliance and sound port governance requirements, but also marks an important step in strengthening the national logistics and industrial ecosystem. Meanwhile, Director General of Sea Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, Muhammad Masyhud, emphasized that this strategic collaboration between the government and the private sector supports national economic growth, particularly in Banten Province, while providing legal certainty for the implementation of port services. Through this collaboration, CPN reaffirmed its commitment to continuously enhancing safe, reliable, and efficient port service quality to support industrial growth and strengthen national logistics connectivity.
