On February 28, 2025, Chandra Asri Group through its infrastructure investment entity, PT Chandra Daya Investasi (CDI), signed a Rp 2 trillion term loan facility agreement with PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk. The 7-year agreement was signed by Jonathan Kandinata, Director of CDI, and Roberto Trio, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Banking Business Head of Danamon. Funds from this loan will be used to support CDI's overall operations and business development as well as strengthen the company's working capital in carrying out various strategic projects.
The facility is a committed term loan that can be allocated for green asset projects such as renewable energy, sustainable water and wastewater management, energy efficiency, and others. Through CDI, Chandra Asri Group is strengthening its business resilience by diversifying into the infrastructure sector.
Andre Khor, Chief Financial Officer of Chandra Asri Group, expressed his appreciation for Danamon's support in providing flexible and competitive long-term financing to support the company's green initiatives. Meanwhile, Thomas Sudarma, Danamon's Director of Enterprise Banking & Financial Institution, emphasized that this cooperation agreement signifies Danamon's long-term commitment to develop innovative and sustainable infrastructure projects.
