Chandra Asri Group, in collaboration with the Cilegon City Environmental Agency, held a simultaneous socialization of the KOLASE Program (School-Based Circular Economy Waste Management Collaboration) at 48 elementary and junior high schools across Cilegon on 19 June 2025. The program aims to build early habits of waste sorting through education in schools. Four schools that had previously implemented the program were recognized and received KOLASE Drop Boxes—waste sorting facilities supported by Chandra Asri Group and the Bakti Barito Foundation—after successfully managing 17 tons of waste and educating over 2,568 students since December 2023.
KOLASE promotes sustainable waste management based on a circular economy model, encouraging students to play an active role as agents of change. Chandra Asri Group reaffirmed its commitment to expanding the program as part of its long-term environmental efforts. The initiative aims not only to instill positive habits in schools but also to inspire households to participate, contributing to broader waste management goals across the city.
