Chandra Asri Held Literacy Corner Activity for Children

Chandra Asri carried out the Literacy Corner program by distributing reading books for schools and institutions surrounding the Company's operation area. Through this program, the Company wishes to encourage children to love reading books even more. The program is expected to nurture reading habits from an early age to develop literate Indonesian generation. Through the Literacy Corner program, the Company also supports the improvement of facilities of libraries for Community Reading Parks (TBM) in terms of the availability of quality books for young students. This program has been running since 2019 and up to now a total of 2,267 books have been distributed to 27 surrounding schools and institutions. Not only books, the Company also donated bookshelves made from wood pallet waste in collaboration with local wood craftsmen. It is hoped that this program will not only benefit the surrounding schools but also encourage the improvement of the local business economy.
