CALIBER Challenge 2025 Records 363 Teams from 81 Universities Across Indonesia

Chandra Asri Group hosted the Chandra Asri Limitless Innovation & Business Strategy (CALIBER) Challenge 2025, a university student competition designed to foster innovative and practical solutions to real industry challenges. Now in its second year, CALIBER adopts the theme The Journey to a Zero-Carbon Building in the Era of Industry 4.0, inviting participants to develop strategies for low-carbon building design.

Interest in the program grew significantly, with 363 teams from 81 universities registering, an increase of 252% from last year. Following a selection process, 10 finalist teams were invited to deliver their final presentations and join a plant tour at Chandra Asri Group’s production facilities in Cilegon on 10–11 December.

Through CALIBER, Chandra Asri Group reinforces its commitment as  #YourGrowthPartner by providing a platform for students to enhance teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical skills, while encouraging innovations that contribute to long-term industry sustainability.

During the final round, the finalists presented data-driven, technology-based, and sustainability-focused proposals to the judging panel. The top three teams were named as follows:

• 1st Place: KonsultanITS – Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)
• 2nd Place: Casting Crowns – Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB)
• 3rd Place: Thunderbolts – Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB)

Additional recognitions were awarded to:

• Honorable Mention 1: Gasskeun – Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM)
• Honorable Mention 2: Visioneer – Universitas Indonesia (UI)
