PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group) continues to strengthen its commitment to human capital development through a range of sustainable educational initiatives. These efforts span from expanding access to higher education and enhancing teacher competency to promoting literacy and environmental education, as part of the Company's contribution to nurturing a competitive and future-ready generation.
One of the Company's flagship initiatives is the Chandra Asri Education Scholarship Program, which provides access to higher education from diploma (D1) to undergraduate (S1) levels through partnerships with various universities and higher education institutions across Indonesia. To date, the program has benefited 1,062 students, while helping develop local talent equipped to meet the evolving needs of the workforce and industry.
The Company's commitment is also reflected in its support for early childhood education. Through the construction and renovation of eight child-friendly early childhood education centers (PAUD), the program has benefited 1,706 students and 63 teachers. In addition, support for the Taman Asuh Sayang Anak (TAMASYA) program has contributed to improving childcare services through educational activities, caregiver training, and the provision of learning resources, benefiting dozens of children and caregivers in Cilegon City.
To foster a culture of literacy, Chandra Asri Group has implemented the Literacy Corner Program (Pojok Literasi), which has distributed 3,568 books along with bookshelves made from repurposed wooden pallet waste to 39 schools and educational institutions. The program aims to broaden access to reading materials while encouraging reading habits among students.
The Company also promotes environmental education through its support for the Adiwiyata School Program and the implementation of the School Environmental Care and Culture Movement (PBLHS). Through these initiatives, several schools have successfully achieved Adiwiyata recognition at the district, provincial, and national independent (Adiwiyata Mandiri) levels. At the same time, teacher competency development programs have reached 976 teachers, while the CHAMP! Edu-Track program has equipped 1,369 students with Academic Potential Test and English language training to help prepare them for higher education opportunities.
These initiatives reflect Chandra Asri Group's ongoing commitment to improving the quality of education, expanding inclusive learning opportunities, and contributing to the development of skilled human capital that will support industrial growth and Indonesia's long-term national development.
