The Jakarta Recycle Center (JRC), a waste management program initiated by the DKI Jakarta Environmental Agency (DLH) and supported by Chandra Asri, attracted the attention of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan. On 5 October 2022, Anies visited Pesanggarahan District, South Jakarta, to directly observe the implementation of the JRC accompanied by the Head of DLH DKI Jakarta, Asep Kuswanto and Director of Legal & External Affairs of Chandra Asri, Edi Rivai. JRC program is the result of various stakeholder’s collaboration in waste management in DKI Jakarta. In 2021, the total value of waste (organic & inorganic) managed under the JRC program is 213 tons. For the last two years, Chandra Asri's contributions to the JRC program include providing 3-color sorting bags, cylinder prints, posters for the waste sorting schedule, waste sorting booklets, 660-liter trash cans, and organic chopping machines.
