PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group), through its Indonesia Asri environmental education campaign, launched Jejak Asri On The Move at Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (UNTIRTA) in Serang, Banten. In collaboration with the university’s Student Executive Board (BEM UNTIRTA), the program brought together students and the academic community through a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) and a community clean-up activity (Operasi Semut) under the theme “Circular Economy Collaboration for Sustainable Waste Management.” The initiative aims to increase awareness and participation among young people in practicing waste sorting at the source as part of responsible waste management on campus.
Jejak Asri On The Move is part of Jejak Asri, a participatory platform under the Indonesia Asri campaign designed to encourage young people to contribute through ideas, innovation, and tangible actions that support sustainability. Through this program, Chandra Asri Group seeks to strengthen students’ understanding of the importance of waste sorting as a key step in advancing the circular economy, while also encouraging the development of initiatives and collaborations that foster a more sustainable waste management culture both on campus and in the wider community.
