Chandra Asri Group Holds “Desa Anyar Asri” Event to Promote Community Waste Management

In commemoration of World Environment Day 2025, Chandra Asri Group, together with the Desa Anyar Government, held the “Desa Anyar Asri” event to encourage residents to participate in household waste management. Activities included a village-wide clean-up, education on waste sorting and recycling, the introduction of the GUPI Mandiri Waste Bank, and a “Waste-for-Goods” exchange program highlighting the economic value of waste.

The event saw strong participation from the local community, with 1,548 residents taking part. Over the three-day period from June 18 to 20, they successfully collected and managed 10,122 kilograms of waste.
