Polyethylene

CAP produces high quality Polyethylene (PE) which is sold under the trademark brand “Asrene®”. PE is made by polymerization of Ethylene gas before blending the powdered resin with various additives to improve the end-product’s performance. It undergoes stringent QA/QC monitoring and testing before being packed in 25-kg packaging for our customers.

"Asrene®" product line-up consists of HDPE which has stiff property and LLDPE which has flexible property. It can be manufactured into a wide range of applications, which is including film, injection molding, blow molding, pipe and monofilament.

Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE)

Its density vary from 0.915 to 0.925 gr/cm3. Due to its molecular weight, LLDPE exhibits excellent toughness, flexibility, and relatively good transparency. LLDPE is mainly used for general injection product and film.

High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

Its density is equal or greater to 0.941gr/cm3. Due to its degree of branching, HDPE exhibits excellent tensile strength. HDPE is mainly for film, blow molding, general injection, pipe and monofilament.

In addition, CAP also develop and produce degradable HDPE film resin which known as eco-friendly plastic namely Asrene® SF5008E under the trademark of GRENE®.

GRENE® resin can be manufactured into plastic materials which will be bio-degraded in a much shorter period than ordinary plastic. It takes approximately two years for GRENE® to completely degrade whereas conventional plastic takes 1,000 years to degrade. GRENE® provides shorter degradation for longer survival of the earth.

There is no difference in terms of strength and other applications between GRENE® and conventional plastic. GRENE® does not contain any toxic or heavy metal and is safe for direct food contact. It is used for a wide variety of plastic packaging applications such as shopping bags, compost bags, disposal bags, bags on roll, etc. Furthermore, GRENE® allows, not only environmental, but also ecological, economic and social aspect to have better standard of living.

Polypropylene

CAP produces high quality Polypropylene (PP) which is sold under the trademark brand “Trilene®”. PP is made by polymerization of Propylene gas before blending the powdered resin with various additives to improve the end-product’s performance. It undergoes stringent QA/QC monitoring and testing before being packed in 25-kg packaging for our customers.  

“Trilene®” product line-up consists of Homopolymer which has a rigid property, Random Copolymer which has more transparent property and Impact (Block) Copolymer which has high impact resistance property. It can be manufactured into wide range of applications, which is including housewares, food packaging, electronics and automotive parts.

Homopolymer

PP Homopolymer only consists of Propylene, has high stiffness and glossiness properties. Its applications vary from food packaging (rigid and flexible), housewares, woven bags, etc.

Random Copolymer

PP Random Copolymer consists of Propylene and a specific portion of Ethylene comonomers. It has high clarity and flexibility, and mainly used for products such as clear containers, flip-top caps, extrusion coatings for plastic packaging and another type of packaging.

Impact Copolymer

PP Impact Copolymer consists of Propylene, and Ethylene as rubbery phase. The characteristics of this type are this material can withstand impact load and low brittleness temperature (until -30 oC), and can cover some applications such as plastic pails, pallets, electronics and automotive products.
